Norman Reedus Teases Walking Dead Fans With Daryl, Michonne Kiss

It’s getting hot in Georgia! Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, who plays crossbow-toting bad boy Daryl Dixon, teased fans of the zombie drama with an Instagram screen grab of his character full-on making out with Danai Gurira’s Michonne on Thursday, June 25.

“dichonne love,” he captioned a still image from AMC.

While fans have ‘shipped Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride), and even Daryl with the now deceased Beth (Emily Kinney), the katana-wielding babe? Not so much.

But it turns out it was all in good fun. The actor, who sources revealed exclusively to Us Weekly is dating Kinney, was merely teasing a new behind-the-scenes video of the show, which is filmed in Georgia. The teaser features Michael Cudlitz, who plays Abraham, interviewing his fellow co-stars as they return to the set to shoot Season 6. While he’s chatting up Gurira, Reedus sneaks up from the side and plants a big one on his fellow badass’s lips as she was saying how “amazing” it was to be back.

“Are you excited to be back, Norman?” Cudlitz asks after the unexpected — and lengthy — kiss as the actress tries to recover from the surprise show of affection.

“Now I am!” Reedus responds.

“What a day! I love my job!” Gurira laughs.
